  •  MY BEST FRIEND’S WEDDING!

Finally, we have married Ty off to the GREATEST woman Ty has ever met in his life, Stacy.  Can you believe it?  Ty is married!

Ty looks kind of old here…but I think he is still young in heart.

Flower girls, Kimberly & Cheryl with Anaka.

    Family at the wedding.

Looking back at HOC(ELA) English group, Pastor Esther has raised & blessed many Gen-Xers in partnership to raise the next generation…  It’s amazing how God’s blessings can be multiplied through one humble act of his servant!  Thank you Jesus for placing your faithful servant, Pastor Esther in our lives.

It reminds me of I Corinthians 3:6 “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.”

  • This morning at my church, there was a young girl that got baptized today.  She looks really young, and I think she is about 9 or 10.  Before the pastor baptized her, the pastor asked if she has accepted Jesus as her personal savior.  Fervently, she said, YES!  Then the pastor immerse her in the water.  Right at that moment, I cried.  I was really touched.  I thought to myself, I can’t wait till one day I can see Anaka & Seraphina say YES to Jesus & accept Him as their personal savior.  It reminds me of what Caleb L. wrote to his mom on her birthday few days ago.  Thinking of it brought me tears again.  To be a Christian is a life style change.  If we seek, He’ll show us more of Him.  If we submit, He’ll mold us to be more like Him.  I do pray that God teaches me to seek & submit daily so that this life style may be rooted in my family to glorify His kingdom.

  • Anaka is officially 1 1/2 years old today!  She loves to read Bible stories…as you can tell here:

  • Wow, it has been a month since I last post anything here…

Just had my 2nd mother’s day!  I still don’t feel like a “mother.”  However, I have quickly learned that “mother” is such a BIG TITLE with a very humbling job description.  Often times I tell Garry that I work 30 hours a day.  How does that work?  24 hours as a full-time mom and about 6 hours as a part-time work-at-home employee for my job.  Sounds crazy right?  Yes, it is crazy.  I just have to count on my real Boss from Above to run my days.  He is always watching over us…for I know that if I work 30 hours a day, He works 30 hours a day with me too!  Thank you Jesus.

and this is Anaka, who has been turning my days up side down lately.

However, aren’t they adorable?  No matter how crazy my day goes, I can always smile & thank God for the blessings He has given me!
